Major General (Res.) Dr. Yom Tov Samia, a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces, has been a prominent figure in energy (among others, Apollo Power & GE VERNOVA) and infrastructure since 2001. A researcher of organizational climate and leadership and an active voice in Israeli civil society with 25 years of business and philanthropic experience, he holds a BA from Tel Aviv University, an MA from the National Security College and University of Haifa, and a Ph.D. in sociology and political science from the University of Haifa.
Samia served in the Israel Defense Forces for about 30 years, during which he commanded the Paratroopers and Givati Brigades, the Gaza Division, the Galilee (Lebanon) Formation Division, and was commander of the Southern Command. He is divorced, a father of four, and a grandfather of seven. “Indivisible” is his third book. It was preceded by “Leadership in Moments of Truth” (2014) and “From Individuals to a Unit” (2008). Samia published more than 250 articles in Israeli newspapers, and is a very popular analyst on TV shows, radio broadcasting programs, podcasts, and more.
