Rabbi Yisrael Wende serves as a community Rabbi, educator, and couples’ counselor.

Rabbi Yisrael was ordained at the Beit El Yeshiva, studied psychology at the Open

University, and trained in couples’ counseling at Tel Hai College and the Nefesh to

Nefesh Institute. His writing integrates the classic Jewish sources and academic

literature.

In the Beginning is his third book. His previous books (in Hebrew) are: “Sheli,

Shelach” about modesty and “Answers from the Kuzari”.
